WWF Nepal Awarded the Nature Conservation Award 2077

The Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) awarded WWF Nepal with the Nature Conservation Award 2077 recognizing the organization’s invaluable contribution to biodiversity conservation (flora & fauna) and building climate resilience.
 
The Award is conferred to individuals or organizations contributing to nature conservation under any genre of science and technology and includes a cash prize of Nrs. 200,000. Honorable Prime Minister K.P Sharma Oli presented the award to the Country Representative of WWF Nepal Dr. Ghana S. Gurung during the ‘NAST Award Distribution Ceremony 2077’ held on 8th July 2021 at the Honorable Prime Minister’s Quarter, in Baluwatar.
 
WWF Nepal is honored to have received such a prestigious award and would like to reinforce our commitments to promote scientific and technological advancements for environmental conservation and human wellbeing.
